These Positive Meniscus Lenses are fabricated from ROHS-compliant BK7 glass (N-BK7) and are avalable uncoated or with one of our three broadband antireflection coatings: -A (350-700 nm),-B (650-1050 nm), or -C (1050-1700 nm). These coatings greatlyreduce the 4% loss per surface incurred when using an uncoated lens. Dead front glass is widely used in smart homes, smart wearables, financials, medicals, and industrial control, etc.
Q5: Will the glass strength be affected after AG etching?
A: Definitely not. Because the etched glass surface is only about 0.05mm depth, and the chemical strengthening is immersion type, which can fully complete the replacement of ions. We have done too many time tests and the results showed that it didn’t affect the strength of the glass.
Q6: For AF（Anti-Fingerprint） coating, how much is the qualified water contact angle?

Q7: How to recognize the etched side?
A: The easiest way is to hold the AG glass under a fluorescent light and look at the tube reflected on the glass from the front. If the light is scattered on the glass, it is etched side. Q16: What’s the difference between single side AG glass and double sided AG glass?
A: FELIX GLASS AG glass is immersed etching. Technically speaking, we have to cover another side when we’re etching single side AG glass.
Q17: Will the gloss be varied after assembly.
A: If you bond the glass with other parts fully by optical bonding, the gloss will vary,the gloss of double side AG glass will increase by 10-20. If it’s single side AG glass or bonded half, the gloss varies small.
