A: Felix Glass adopts strict full-process quality management system to guarantee stable optical quality for all finished optical components, covering raw material incoming inspection, production in-process monitoring, post-coating optical testing, final visual inspection and sampling reliability aging test. Every link has standardized inspection procedures and recorded quality logs.

First of all, raw material incoming inspection. All glass substrates including fused silica, BK7, aluminosilicate, sapphire and low-iron solar glass will be inspected before entering production. We check material spectral property, internal bubble & striae, flatness and thickness uniformity. Unqualified raw glass sheets will be rejected directly to avoid defects carried into finished parts.

During machining process, we implement first article inspection for every production batch. After CNC cutting, grinding, drilling and polishing, the first sample is fully measured for dimension, edge quality and surface defects. Production operators and QC inspectors carry out regular in-line sampling inspection to catch scratches, chipping or dimension drift at early stage.

For coated optical products, this is the key optical quality control point. After AR, AG, AF or silver reflective coating deposition, we test each batch sample with professional spectrophotometers to verify transmittance, reflectivity and coating uniformity. We also run coating adhesion test and abrasion test to ensure coating will not peel or degrade during service.

Before packing and shipment, 100% visual surface inspection is performed for critical optical surfaces to screen digs, scratches and contamination. Random sampling will be selected for accelerated aging tests such as thermal cycling, damp heat and salt spray according to customer requirements. All test data and inspection records are archived for batch traceability.

We maintain calibrated optical testing instruments regularly to ensure measurement accuracy. Our quality team will issue official batch inspection certificates together with goods.
