Common Industrial Display Glass Engineering & Procurement Challenges
Most industrial display projects face consistent technical and delivery bottlenecks when sourcing custom cover glass.
Inconsistent Optical Performance
Uneven coating performance, glare issues and fingerprint contamination affecting display visibility and touch interaction.
Poor Mechanical Durability
Ordinary glass may fail to withstand frequent friction, impact and temperature fluctuations in industrial and outdoor environments.
Tolerance Deviation Risks
Inconsistent CNC machining precision can lead to assembly gaps and touch panel fitting failures.
Unstandardized Surface Treatment
Mixed coating and printing processes can cause defects and inconsistent batch quality.
Slow Prototype Verification Cycle
Limited small-batch customization can delay project iteration and market launch.
Incomplete Quality Documentation
Missing process inspection records and required certification or material documentation can complicate industrial project auditing and compliance.

Five-Part Product Configuration Architecture
Our industrial display cover glass adopts a standardized five-part product configuration system, enabling customized engineering matching from base material to surface finishing.
Base Glass Material Options
Soda-Lime Glass, Low-Iron Ultra-Clear Float Glass, Borosilicate Glass, Alkali-Aluminosilicate Glass and Sapphire. Specialty aluminoborosilicate glass is also available for custom substrate requirements, subject to composition, strengthening capability and application requirements. Sapphire is typically specified for specialty high-hardness protective windows rather than conventional large-area industrial display cover glass.
Optional Branded Glass Substrates
Customer-specified branded substrates are available subject to material availability and sourcing requirements, including Corning Gorilla®, AGC Dragontrail®, SCHOTT Xensation®, SCHOTT BOROFLOAT® 33, NEG specialty cover glass grades, HOYA specialty optical substrates, and qualified low-iron or ultra-clear float glass from specified suppliers such as CSG or Nanbo.
Custom Precision Processing
CNC / 5-axis CNC machining, precision cutting, drilling, grooving, edge polishing, fine grinding, chamfering, rounding, thermal tempering and chemical strengthening — selected according to the specified material, geometry, thickness, performance requirements and final product configuration.
Functional Coatings & Surface Treatments
AR anti-reflective coating, AG anti-glare treatment, AF anti-fingerprint / oleophobic coating, ITO conductive coating, anti-scratch hard coating, hydrophobic treatment and other application-specific surface treatments, depending on optical, environmental, electrical, durability and application requirements.
Printing & Decorative Finishing — Optional
Ceramic / silk-screen printing, black display borders, functional logos, scale markings and custom decorative patterns for brand, interface and equipment standardization.
The five parts represent product configuration categories rather than a physical material stack, ensuring clear separation between substrate materials, processing, coatings and decorative finishing. Brand names are referenced for customer specification and material identification only and do not imply authorization, agency or affiliation.

Ask our engineersEngineering & Procurement FAQ
Yes. We support CNC and 5-axis CNC special-shaped processing, customized drilling, grooving, contouring and irregular edge designs according to approved drawings and application requirements.
AR coating reduces surface reflection and can improve optical transmission and display clarity. AG treatment diffuses reflected light to reduce perceived glare under bright or high-ambient-light conditions. The two treatments can be selected individually or combined depending on display requirements.
Not for every application. Chemical strengthening is typically selected for thin or high-performance cover glass where improved mechanical durability, impact resistance and damage tolerance are required. The appropriate strengthening method depends on glass composition, thickness, geometry and application requirements.
We provide paid prototype sampling services. After project confirmation, the applicable sample fee may be deducted from the mass-production order according to project terms.
Typical mass-production lead time is 12–15 working days for standard configurations. Final timing depends on material, dimensions, tooling, coating, printing, quantity, inspection requirements and project specifications.
Yes. Finished-product inspection reports, material certificates and batch quality records can be provided according to project requirements and agreed documentation specifications.
