High Quality UV Grade JGS1 Fused Silica Dome Lens, High Temperature Resistant Quartz Hemispherical Optical Dome
Felix Glass JGS1 fused silica dome lens is manufactured from high-purity UV-grade synthetic fused silica (JGS1 quartz glass), the exclusive optical substrate for deep ultraviolet optical systems. The hemispherical dome structure integrates protective shell and weak focusing lens, widely used for UV laser, UV spectral analysis and high-temperature industrial optical detection equipment.
JGS1 fused silica features ultra-wide transmission from 185nm deep UV to 2100nm near infrared, completely transparent to short-wave ultraviolet light that ordinary optical glass cannot pass through. It owns ultra-low thermal expansion coefficient and outstanding high temperature resistance, can work stably under 1100℃ continuous high temperature without deformation, cracking or light absorption drift, far superior to ZnS, ZnSe and BK7 glass in high-temperature UV scenes.
Custom UV broadband AR anti-reflection coating can be deposited on inner and outer surfaces to reduce UV reflection loss and improve deep ultraviolet signal throughput. The hemispherical curved surface corrects optical imaging distortion, and fully isolates internal UV sensors and laser cavities from dust, high-temperature gas, splash and moisture.

1. What is the difference between JGS1 fused silica dome and ZnS/ZnSe infrared dome?
JGS1 quartz transmits deep UV light and withstands ultra-high temperature, dedicated for UV laser & high-temperature equipment; ZnS/ZnSe only work for infrared thermal imaging, cannot transmit UV and fail at high temperature.
2. What temperature environment can JGS1 quartz dome adapt to?
It can keep stable optical performance from -60℃ to 1100℃, suitable for high-temperature furnace and continuous UV laser irradiation working conditions.
3. Can I customize UV anti-reflection coating and dome size for UV laser equipment?
Yes, we support custom hemispherical diameter, wall thickness, curvature radii, and UV AR coating optimized for 193nm, 248nm, 355nm common UV laser wavelengths.
4. What equipment matches this JGS1 fused silica dome lens?
It fits deep UV laser machines, laboratory UV spectrometers, industrial high-temperature furnace monitoring equipment and semiconductor UV detection optical assemblies.
