Detail Information

650nm IR Cut Optical Low-Pass Filter (OLPF)

Felix Glass 650nm IR cut optical low-pass filter is a dedicated optical component for CCTV security surveillance cameras. This low-pass filter transmits visible light within 400–650nm and fully suppresses infrared radiation above 650nm, while functioning as an optical low-pass element to reduce moiré interference and false color distortion in imaging.

We adopt standard N-BK7 optical glass as substrate with precision interference blocking coating, delivering stable spectral performance to ensure true color reproduction for day-night security camera monitoring.

Core Optical Specifications

- Cut-off Wavelength: 650nm
- Transmission Band: 400–650nm visible spectrum
- Blocking Range: All infrared wavelengths above 650nm
- Blocking Depth: OD4–OD6 for out-of-band infrared radiation
- Substrate: N-BK7 optical glass
- Shape: Custom round disc, square sheet, customizable dimension & thickness
- AOI: 0° standard, custom incident angle available

Core Product Advantages

- Effective IR cutoff at 650nm, avoids infrared-induced color distortion during daytime monitoring
- Optical low-pass structure suppresses moiré patterns and image aliasing for clear surveillance footage
- Stable multi-layer blocking coating with consistent spectral performance under long-term continuous operation
- Fully customizable outline, thickness and edge blackening to match various CCTV lens modules
- Standard N-BK7 glass substrate with uniform surface quality for mass camera assembly

Typical Application Scenarios

- Indoor & outdoor CCTV security surveillance cameras
- Home monitoring camera modules
- Vehicle-mounted security recording equipment
- Industrial visible-light inspection cameras
- Consumer surveillance lens optical assemblies

OEM Manufacturing Capability

We provide full one-stop processing: glass cutting, precision shaping, IR blocking coating, edge finishing, spectral transmission testing and surface visual inspection.
Prototype sampling, small trial batches and mass production are supported. Every optical low-pass filter is inspected to meet customer-specified spectral and dimensional requirements before delivery.

FAQ

1. What is the function of this 650nm IR cut optical low-pass filter?
It transmits 400–650nm visible light and blocks all infrared light over 650nm; meanwhile, the low-pass structure reduces moiré aliasing and eliminates false color in CCTV camera images.

2. What substrate material is used for this OLPF filter?
Standard N-BK7 optical glass is used as substrate, paired with professional infrared blocking coating for stable day-night imaging performance.

3. Can I customize round and square sizes for surveillance camera use?
Yes, we support custom round and square outlines, adjustable thickness, edge blackening and special spectral blocking parameters per technical drawings.

4. What devices is this 650nm IR cut filter suitable for?
It is widely applied to all types of CCTV security cameras, home surveillance modules and vehicle-mounted monitoring optical systems.

5. Do you provide sample and mass production service for OLPF filters?
We offer prototype sampling, small batch orders and large-scale manufacturing, all filters pass full spectral and dimensional inspection before shipment.
