Detail Information

Multi-Material Square & Cylindrical Optical Lens, BK7/K9, Fused Silica, Sapphire, CaF2 For Spectroscopy & Laser Diode

Felix Glass square and cylindrical optical lens is customized for laser diode beam collimation/shaping and laboratory spectral analysis equipment, with four mainstream optical substrates available for different wavelength demands: BK7(K9) crown glass, high purity fused silica, sapphire crystal, calcium fluoride (CaF2).

Two mainstream shapes are supplied: square flat optical lens for compact spectral detection modules; cylindrical rod lens for one-dimensional linear laser beam shaping of laser diodes. Cylindrical structure realizes single-axis focusing/diverging to form uniform linear light spot; square flat lens acts as beam collimating window and focusing element for multi-channel spectrometers. Custom wavelength-matched AR anti-reflection coating can be deposited on surfaces to reduce reflection loss and improve light throughput.

Core Optical Specifications

- Optional Substrates: BK7(K9) optical glass, fused silica, sapphire, CaF2 calcium fluoride

OEM Manufacturing Capability

We provide full one-stop optical processing including multi-material blank cutting, ultra-precision cylindrical CNC grinding, square flat double-sided polishing, wavelength-matched AR coating, edge chamfer/black edge treatment, strict spectral transmittance testing and beam uniformity inspection.
Prototype sampling, small-batch trial production and mass customization are supported. Every square and cylindrical lens is fully tested to meet customer-specified spectral and dimensional requirements before delivery.

Standard FAQ

1. How to select substrate between BK7, fused silica, sapphire and CaF2?
BK7 for low-cost visible-NIR; fused silica for deep UV laser; sapphire for high-temperature harsh environment; CaF2 for mid-infrared FTIR spectrometers.
2. What is the difference between square lens and cylindrical rod lens?
Square lens is flat focusing/collimating window for spectral equipment; cylindrical rod lens shapes laser diode into linear one-dimensional light spot.
3. Can I customize anti-reflection coating for laser diode wavelength?
Yes, we provide AR coating matched to 405nm, 450nm, 520nm, 635nm, 808nm, 905nm and other common laser diode wavelengths.
4. What equipment matches this multi-material square & cylindrical lens?
It fits laser diode collimation modules, laboratory spectrometers, industrial spectrum measuring instruments and semiconductor optical detection assemblies.
5. Do you provide mixed substrate sample orders?
We support single-material samples and mixed multi-substrate batch production, all lenses pass full spectral transmittance inspection before shipment.
